FitnessTech Startup Strydal raised €800k in Pre-Seed funding from angel investors

Strydal announced via LinkedIn:

“New funding round!

We’re excited to announce that we have successfully raised €800k in Pre-Seed funding from a group of well-renowned angel investors including Jacob Fatih (Founder of FitX), Urs Keller (Stylight, Teleclinic), Chris Hitchen (Holidu, AnyDesk) and Jakob Riegger (Co-founder of TrustYou).

Strydal is building a software platform that enables every fitness and well-being professional to turn their passion into a thriving online business — it’s the “Shopify for fitness”. Our solution greatly simplifies all aspects of teaching online by integrating live-classes, on-demand content, client communication and billing in one easy-to-use platform.

Strydal’s mission is to empower independent professionals like yoga teachers and fitness instructors to compete online with dominant players like Peloton, Mirror or Gymondo. Particularly in challenging times like these, we believe it’s crucial that professionals can continue to make a living and that clients can keep practicing with the instructors they love.”
